Logan Bester, a rich, nice, polite and provincial Canadian, comes to Cambridge to study Wordsworth. Innocent and a little bit priggish at heart Logan finds England bewildering.

His encounters with the not-so-innocent denizens of his new world soon leave him floundering way out of his depth: the novelist-don Sam Field, the sleek generic xanax 1mg Samuel Chipman and the bird-like Mr. Hodges. Most unexpected of them all is Sam Field’s mistress Joey — in a way that has disastrous consequences for someone with Logan’s upbringing.
